Teora Music School was established in Tomball, TX in December 2018 as a music school endorsed by the Japanese firm Yamaha. Teora Music School serves the community of The Woodlands, Augusta Pines, Springs, Tomball, and surrounding areas.
We offer music lessons for piano, guitar, drums, singing lessons, violin, bass guitar and more. In addition, we offer music production lessons and services such as composition, music theory, song writing, recording, mixing, and mastering, as well as rehearsal and recording studio for rental.
At Teora Music School, we also offer Music Therapy, employing musical interventions to achieve personalized goals led by a qualified professional. Teora Music School also offers a program specifically designed for preschoolers (Music lessons for preschooler).
We provide a contemporary, professional, and cutting-edge environment. Our private and semi-private lessons are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring an optimal learning experience. Our greatest desire is for our community to fully experience the benefits and joys that music brings to every individual.

If you have the ability and desire to work with young children and their parents and if you have a level of musicianship high enough to ensure success, we would like to meet you and have a conversation.
Ideal Teora Music School Teacher must have great love and patience for children. Qualifications needed to teach them effectively include knowledge of best practices for educational methods as well as the ability to engage students and earn their trust and attention.
We are looking for collaborators or talents who want to grow with us and be part of this unique and amazing new venture.
The school offers Yamaha programs (Non Exclusive), including private and group lesson from children through adults. The programs include in-class musical experiences that establish a foundation for musical ability and cultivate a life-long love of music for early childhood.

The intern will serve as an assistant to the Director, supporting rehearsals and performance logistics.
- Assist with stage management during rehearsals and performances
- Learn and assist with QLab (sound cues & technical support)
- Support choreography practice and movement review
- Help students with lines, cues, and scene transitions
- Assist with props, stage setup, and on-stage movement
- Support costume changes and backstage coordination
- Help with child supervision and classroom management
- Be present, proactive, and reliable at all rehearsals and performances
Time Commitment
- 3 hours per week, in person
- Saturdays, 12:00–3:00 PM
- January 10 – April 18, 2026
- Mandatory attendance at all rehearsals, dress rehearsals, and final performance
- Final performance: April 19 or April 25 at 4:00 PM
(Intern hours on performance day: 1:00–6:00 PM) - Total commitment: ~38 hours

- Reliable and punctual
- Reliable transportation to and from Teora Music School
- Minimum age: 14 (preference for college students or HS juniors/seniors)
- Experience working with children in group settings (not completely necessary)
- Comfortable taking direction and adapting quickly
- Willingness to learn technical theater tools (QLab training provided)
- Availability for all scheduled rehearsals and performance dates
- Positive, patient, and team-oriented attitude
