Nitzia Narvaez is a lifelong pianist with over 25 years of experience. She is a graduate of Houston’s renowned High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (HSPVA) and later the University of Houston, where she pursued studies in Sales, French, and International Studies. Nitzia studied privately with Ms. Thu Carey throughout her years at HSPVA, completing four years of piano study and an additional year in pedagogy. Since graduating in 2009, she has continued taking lessons both to deepen her own musicianship and to refine her teaching practice allowing her to grow continually as both a pianist and an educator.

With more than a decade of teaching experience including seven years at Music & Arts in Sugar Land and several years running her own private studio Nitzia has taught students ranging from young beginners to experienced adults returning to the piano. After ten years in corporate tech sales, she is thrilled to return full-time to her passion for sharing the joy, confidence, and discipline that music brings.

Beyond the piano bench, Nitzia enjoys dancing, building LEGO sets, playing board games, and exploring The Woodlands by bike.
