Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies with a focus in Education from the University of St. Thomas (UST) in Houston, TX, where he in May 2022. During his time at UST, he was the recipient of a music scholarship and participated in various ensembles, including the Jazz Ensemble and Chamber Ensemble.
He also earned an Associate of Arts in Audio Engineering from San Jacinto College Central in Pasadena, TX, in May 2015. Alex was the recipient of both the Noel Wilkins Scholarship for music performance and a Music Scholarship for music performance. He achieved the Dean's List for the semesters of Spring 2016, Fall and Spring 2015, and Spring 2014, and participated in ensembles such as Men's Chorus, Jazz Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Combo.
Alex has been dedicated to the piano since the age of six and has been instructing students for over 11 years. With a deep love for music and a strong commitment to excellence, Alex provides top-quality musical education.

Throughout his career, Alex has has guided students of all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced pianists preparing for auditions and performances.
Beyond teaching, Alex boasts extensive performance experience across various ensembles and musical styles. He has played in jazz bands, orchestras, rock bands, chamber ensembles, marching bands, and concert bands, along with giving numerous solo performances. This rich performance background has instilled in Alex a profound appreciation for music's power to connect, express, and inspire.
He believes that everyone can gain from learning the piano, whether for personal enjoyment, career advancement, or personal growth. With a flexible and personalized teaching approach, Alex nurtures his students’ musical talents.
