Darryl Jones

Brief info

Darryl is a musician from Houston who graduated from Prairie A&M University. Throughout his life he has been involved in music education working directly with various school districts in the Houston area, where he has served as director, arranger, composer, and conductor for marching bands. He interprets various musical genres, but highlights Jazz as his most intimate familiarity with it.
Darryl currently works as the Minister of Music in some churches, and over the years he has been leading the music service in different churches where he has held different roles such as show organizer, songwriter, choir coordinator, among other important functions.
Darryl is the recipient of the Outstanding Music Award and is a member of TMEA, MENC, Who’s Who in Music, among other associations.
We are sure that Darryl will promote a better musical education among the students of the Teora School of Music, sharing his techniques and skills with them and taking musical education to the top in our community.
